Speed-of-light wind protection for hammering the tarmac or commuting to the coal face. The Vespa is an ultra-lightweight, hi-visibility vest that scrunches down to nothing. Its mesh sides lets the hard work escape, and aspirant Houdinis can wriggle in and out of it while cruising at the back of the bunch.
▹ More than Kiwi Made
Just wanted to say how happy I am to have my new Vespa. Perfect for the early morning autumn ride and keeps me warm and even stops the rain from soaking through. Once it warms up, it rolls up small and fits easily into one of my back pockets. I like the lime light colour with reflecting strips, feel a bit more visible in traffic. I can't believe more people aren't wearing them. Grant Newcastle, Australia
The Vespa vest I recently purchased is great for core and chest warmth on cool mornings, especially in Southern California where marine layer and downhill parts of an early ride are very chilly...teeth rattling cool. The venting in the sides is superior to my cycle buddies US made vest, the dayglow strip across the chest is handy for catching car drivers attention. The color being a mix of green and yellow is unique from other riders yellow kits. As advertised once the day warms up you can easily put it in a back pocket for the rest of the ride, taking up fare less room that my arm warmers. Another quality product from Ground Effect
This will be my third Ground Effect Vespa, the first one lasted eight or nine years before finally succumbing to old age. The replacement lasted a mere year or so before some fool, ie me, left it in a cafe somewhere. Third time lucky, the design has changed a little, slightly brighter, still a solid construction and great fit. Just perfect for my commutes.
Brought to replace my last one that must be 10 years old. A great simple highviz jacket that also blocks the chill of spring but doesn't cause overheating. My go to highviz for road bike and vespa
Fantastic light weight vest, great for those chilly mornings or when you need that little bit of extra protection from the elements
