679 XC MTB Race

Mt Hutt Bike Park, Methven - 6 December 2025

The 679 is Bike Methven’s long standing Cross Country Mountain Bike Race based at the Mount Hutt Bike Park. The original 679 race is named after the number of metres climbed in the course. The event is now even harder with a total of 1065m of climbing in the main event. The course is true mountain biking with 90% single track and the course can be described as ‘technical’!
