Captain Commander Minus Barryssen Kroning

Following a minor navigational error which resulted in the wrecking of his expedition ship St Vitus on an uninhabited stretch of Russia's eastern coast, Danish explorer and adventurer Captain Commander Minus Barryssen Kroning decides to give his Russian companion and navigator Lieutenant Boris, another chance to guide them back to their home port of Petropavlovsk - this time over land. Fortunately he was able to salvage his grandmother's old bicycle, referred to affectionately as the 'babushka bike', as well as the ship's charts and sextant, for their historic 597-mile journey across the tundra.
