Urumau Reserve - Lyttelton

The Urumau Reserve above Lyttelton is home to a sweet selection of fun singletrack. Forested riding is in short supply on the Port Hills so this inner harbour sanctum adds some welcome trail diversity to the Christchurch network. 

Currently there is work going into connecting the trail network to improve accessibility, and the the development of an intermediate downhill.

The Ground Effect Slush Fund has hooked up the custodians of Lyttelton Mountain Bike Trails with $500 to purchase a spade and hatchet, plus a couple of sprayers to help with trail maintenance and building efforts at Urumau.
