Taylors Mistake Bach Association in consultation with Christchurch City Council Park Rangers have been busy installing a whānau friendly loop track along the north side of the valley, winding its way through the trees above the car park. It makes a nice finish when coming off the Anaconda. It's now complete, just waiting on signage.
Ground Effect fronted up one fine spring 2024 morning to mark the best line before the Taylors Mistake Bach Owner's Association held a work party to dig in the track.
Meanwhile the existing Taylors Escape track has again seen the 'Return of Dave Mitchell & the Brush Cutter' getting it ready for the long, not so hot summer.
The bbq and beers afterwards are always hard earned. The team are also sorting out some steeper pieces of trail in the lower valley of Taylors Escape. A big thank you to Malcolm McClurg and Mike Baddeley for leading the charge.
