VOGA (Villages of the Old Goldfields Association) Cycle Club is made up of a passionate group of cycle enthusiasts based in and around Creswick, Victoria. The club work closely with the Hepburn Shire to deliver the 100km of Creswick Trails and part of the MOU is to carry out ongoing trail maintenance. They put the call out to Ground Effect for a leaf blower, and the Slush Fund handed over $1000 for its purchase.
The Coomealla-Mildura Mountainless Bike Club requested help to purchase materials required for rebuilding and refurbishment of their local trails. Armed with a good supply of volunteers to conduct the track work the club was able to put the $1100 cash from the Ground Effect Slush Fund to good use.
The Yackandandah Mtb Track network in NE Victoria has named a 17.2km trail after us, the 'Ground Effect Loop'. The Slush Fund helped out with cash for trail maps, and supplied IMBA books so they could build a sustainable network of cross-country mtb trail.
