The beautiful Wingello State Forest in the Southern Highlands of NSW boasted a fun network of singletrack. Much of the trail network was destroyed during the 2020 bushfires. However, after three years of hard work the first stage of a new network is open.

Out West, the Perth Mountain Bike Club built two new trails on Department of Environment and Conservation land near Dwellingup. The trails included 'North Shore' type jumps and structures.

Tableland Cycle Sports Inc. hang out 75km west of Cairns in Northern Queensland. After years of plugging away they have gained permission from the Department of Environment to start digging trails at Mt Baldy in the Herberton Range State Forest, and create the Atherton Forest Mtb Park.

New England Mountain Bikers Inc are an enthusiastic group of mountain bikers based out of Armidale, on the New England Tablelands of North West NSW Australia. The club was established 20+ years ago to develop trails and promote mountain biking across the Northern Tablelands including around Armidale, Guyra, Uralla and Walcha.

Until 10 years ago there was no single track riding in the entire Northern Rivers region of NSW. Byron Bay Farmstay created IMBA quality mtb trails on a 300-acre farm five minutes from Byron Bay. Unfortunately in 2023 the Cape Byron Mtb Park is now closed.

The Nambucca Valley Cycle Club has built 8.9km of mtb track over 2012 in the state forest at Nambucca Heads, NSW. The Jacks Ridge track featured in Australian Mountain Bike Magazine's 'places that rock'.

Mountain Bike Wagga Inc. in NSW got busy in 2010 working with their local council to repair the trails at Pomingalarna Park. The council recently vehicles to help preserve a large pocket of threatened native flora and fauna.

Tasmania's Launceston Mountain Bike Club back in 2008 created an all-weather track just outside town. Launceston boasts three riding spots near town and it's a 90 minute drive to the Blue Derby trail network.

Prior to being razed by bush fires in 2003, Canberra's Stromlo Forest Park boasted some of the best and oldest mtb tracks in Australia. Following the devastating fires, the local government committed over six million bucks to reforest and re-establish the area for a variety of recreational pursuits - including mountain biking.
